‘Association for Development and Awareness of Omadhoo (ADAO)’ organized this Quran competition for children of the Omadhoo to encourage children to learn and recite quran as per Thajweedh and increase religious awareness and protect Quran.

The competition was held on 26th July 2013 and with 23 participants. the competition was judged by 3 volunteer judges, one from Omadhoo and two from Kunburudhoo. The competition was held for 6 age groups and 2 areas; that is  reciting by-heart and reciting from mus-haf. At the end of the competition, certificates and awards were given to the winners in each age group, eac area and best 3 from the competition.In addition every participant received a certificate of participation and were given a Mus-haf.
