Official Handover of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Mosque

Masjidh Moosa Ali with capacity of 700 people was officially handed over to the Secretariat of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Council today, 1st September 2017. This function was held at the football grounds of Hdh. Hanimadhoo after the Eid Prayers held at Masjidh Moosa Ali. Visiting officials of Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation participated in the Eid Prayers. AFTF Grant Awarding to National NGOs

NGO Grants Ceremony

A small ceremony was held at Champa Central Hotel to award grants to 7 prominent NGOs in the country. These 7 NGOs are, UWC Maldives, Care Soceity, Cancer Society of Maldives, Journey, Society for Health Education, Maldives Autism Association & Maldivian Red Crescent. AFTF have been funding national NGOs since 2012 and under the program AFTF will be funding 3.3 million MVR to the NGOs this year. K. Dhiffushi – Integrated Water Supply System & Sewerage Disposal System

A ceremony was held today at K. Dhiffushi to implement the design and build of integrated water supply system and sewerage disposal system in K. Dhiffushi. The water & sewerage system at K. Dhiffushi is a donation by Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation and Meeru Island Resort & Spa for the people of K. Dhiffushi. L. Maamendhoo & R. Hulhudhuffaaru Mosque

On November 1st 2015, AFTF signed an agreement with Ministry of Islamic Affairs, to donate 6 mosques in the Maldives. Among these were the mosques at L. Maamendhoo and R. Hulhudhuffaaru. AFTF awarded the contract to AIMA Construction to build the mosques. For the Mosque at L. Maamendhoo, work commenced on 30th November 2015, while the work was fully completed on 23rd January 2016.   On November 1st 2015, AFTF signed an agreement with Ministry of Islamic Affairs, to donate 6 mosques in the Maldives. Among these was the mosque at Sh. Kanditheemu. AFTF awarded the contract to Altec Maldives to build the mosque. Work began with the land clearing work, which commenced on 22nd November 2015, while the main mosque work began in January 2016.
