Classrooms and office area of ‘Husna Preschool’ were roofed with tin roofing sheets. Since the school carried out its sessions both in the morning and afternoon, students and its staffs has been facing difficulties due the heat in the classrooms from the mid-day sun. Gate for ‘Voshufilaa Preschool’

AA Ukulhas - Voshufilaa Preschool gate

‘Ukulhahu United Association (UUA)’ initiated the project to install a gate for the Preschool to keep the children safe and inside the school. Voshufilaa Preschool is situated near the beach side in the island. Without a gate for the school, teachers were having difficulty in keeping the children safely inside the school. Under this project a gate was donated to the school. The gate has now been installed.

AA Thoddoo - START NGO Quran class

Society To Advance and Rebuild Thoddoo (START) NGO have been conducting Quran classes for all ages of people of AlifuAlifuThoddoo island for last3 years. START had held 2 Quran competitions and these competitions are opened for all age groups. A total number of 140 people are registered at this Quran class.The objectives of conducting these classes are to revive the love for Quran in people’s heart and teach the right way to recite Quran, prepare students to represent class at

SMART class project in Baa Atoll Madharusaa

B. Dharavandhoo - SMART class project in Baa Atoll Madharusaa

The project was initiated by ‘Baa Atoll Madharusaa’ to improve the teaching facilities in the school by installing E beam Smart board in a classroom. After installation of the E beam Smart board a familiarization workshop was conducted for the teachers. All 151 students studying in the school from grade 1 to 10 are been taught with the help of this improved facility. As the demand for this classroom was high, teachers had to make advance booking for sessions.

Kitchen utensils for celebrating special occasions in B. Fehendhoo

‘Fehendhoo Youth Club has been having celebrating special occasions with feasts prepared for the community. However, this activity has been carried out with great difficulty in finding cutleries for serving. The clubs’ proposal was aimed at finding a solution for this problem. With the items delivered from AFTF, the club prepared a feast for the island community to celebrate Eid al Adha 1435.
