Society To Advance and Rebuild Thoddoo (START) NGO have been conducting Quran classes for all ages of people of AlifuAlifuThoddoo island for last3 years. START had held 2 Quran competitions and these competitions are opened for all age groups. A total number of 140 people are registered at this Quran class.The objectives of conducting these classes are to revive the love for Quran in people’s heart and teach the right way to recite Quran, prepare students to represent class at regional and national Quran competitions and also to create the demand for enrollment by upgrading facilities of the class. The Quran class had wanted to upgrade and equip the class with modern teaching facilities and this dream came true with the funding of IT items, sound system and projection facilities to the class by Ali FulhuThuthu Foundation. Items donated to the class will help START NGO to project videos and audios of world renowned Quran reciters and help the students to recite the Quran, the right way. Start also organizes religious forums and holds awareness program with the sound system donated. START NGO would also offer items donated to other activities and events organized in the island
