HA. Hoarafushi – Construction of Two Storey Building (Rahvehige) Orchid Villa
The two storey building (Orchid Villa) of HA. Hoarafushi is a donation by Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation (AFTF) for the people of HA. Hoarafushi.
The old community home (Rahvehige) at Orchid Villa was used by the council to provide accommodation to guests, as a way for the council to generate income. However, due to its old age, the need for a new building was immense. AFTF agreed to fund the project after reviewing the propsosal from the Council of Hoarafushi.
An agreement was signed between AFTF and Altec Maldives to construct the new building at HA. Hoarafushi. The project work commenced on 03rd October 2015 and was successfully completed on 30th August 2016.
This 283 SqM building consists of 9 Bedrooms, a Conference Hall, Garage, Reception Area, Lobby and a Kitchen and Laundry area.
The new building at Orchid Villa will pave the way for further development of the island and provide a solution for the difficulties faced in accommodating guests.
