The ‘Kihaadhoo Islanders for Helping All Around (KIHAA)’ aimed at operating the Preschool in a separate location presently run in a class room of Kihaadhoo School. With the assistance from island council the NGO proposed to convert the old women mosque to use as the new Preschool building.

Due to the involvement of members of the NGO in the presidential election 2013 held in mid-November the renovation work was delayed. Due to the delay in commencement of renovation work as scheduled  the project was not completed during the year.  Renovation work started during 2014.
