‘The Acoustics’, a  youth NGO of the Sh. Kanditheem took initiation in submitting the proposal to build a children’s’ park where children can come in the mornings and evenings to spend their leisure time in the open and fresh air of the park, away from their congested homes and busy environments.

The children’s park has playitems for them to play, enjoy and rods for hanging upon for exercise, also other items that provide for children their much required exercise, enjoyment, and refreshment away from their busy schedules of school and home.

The exuberance and enthusiasm in the park cannot be easily found anywhere else. The young come to play and the elders with them come to see them enjoy. The fresh air mixed with the sound of the chattering of young minds is lovely for any elder to appreciate.

The park was officially opened on Children’s day, 10th May 2012.
