B. Dharavandhoo - SMART class project in Baa Atoll Madharusaa

The project was initiated by ‘Baa Atoll Madharusaa’ to improve the teaching facilities in the school by installing E beam Smart board in a classroom. After installation of the E beam Smart board a familiarization workshop was conducted for the teachers. All 151 students studying in the school from grade 1 to 10 are been taught with the help of this improved facility. As the demand for this classroom was high, teachers had to make advance booking for sessions.

The Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) of AA. Himandhoo Preschool approached AFTF to upgrade the teaching facilities in order to provide the students with better educations and easier facilities for teachers. With this aim, an eBeam Engage all-in-one Interactive White Board System was installed in Himandhoo Preschool. A two day workshop was held to train the teachers to use the board in classes. Computer skills development for locals

AA Bodufolhudhoo - Computer Skills Development

Association for Awareness Recreation and Unity (AARU) took initiation to conduct computer training programs for locals of Aa. Bodufolhudhoo.The main objective of the program is to conduct classes for as many locals in basic computing and help them develop computer skills that would help them to find better job opportunities. Inauguration of Computer Lab in GaafuDhaal Atoll School

With our donations of 10 computer systems on 20th September 2012, GaafDhaal Atoll School opens its first Computer Lab on 9th October 2012. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Gdh. Gadhoo Council President Mr. Mohamed Rizan. The computer Lab was opened with internet service. Hence, the teachers wasted no time in using it to make more informative and creative teaching materials. The management is working with the Ministry of Education to make arrangements to incorporate Computer Studies into the syllabus
