Construction of Water and Sewerage System in Ha. Thuraakunu started on 3rd September 2014 with the arrival of construction materials to the island. An agreement was signed with Altec Maldives Pvt Ltd for the construction of this project. To this date company has started work on establishing sewerage network (gravity), installation of manholes, connecting to houses and installation of sea outflow pipes. Agreement signing with Altec Maldives for construction of water and sewerage system in Ha. Thuraakunu
Signing of agreements with Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation and Altec Maldives (Pvt) Ltd for the proposed water and sewerage system in Ha. Thuraakunu. This is a donation for the people of Ha. Thuraakunu from AFTF. Member of Parliament of Hoarafushi constituency Honorable Mohamed Ismail, President of Ha. The youth of N.Fohdhoo took initiation in submitting a proposal for the renovation of ’Masjidhul Nasru’ in the island on 15th May 2012. The space inside the mosque was getting limited for prayers. So the ablution area was planned to be relocated and reconstructed at the side of the mosque giving extra space in the compound that can be used for prayers if inside gets filled. The carpets of Masjidhul Jalaalu’dheen have been replaced with beautiful new carpets by AFTF. The new carpets on the ground floor and first floor of the mosque added magnificence to the mosque. The replacement work done by Habitat Maldives started during the last week of June and was completed before the holy month of Ramazan.
Ha. Uligan mosque ‘ Masjid Moosa Ali’ named after late Moosa Ali (Ali Fulhu Thuthu) is a donation to the locals of Uligan by Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation (AFTF).
