Construction of Water and Sewerage System in Ha. Thuraakunu started on 3rd September 2014 with the arrival of construction materials to the island. An agreement was signed with Altec Maldives Pvt Ltd for the construction of this project. To this date company has started work on establishing sewerage network (gravity), installation of manholes, connecting to houses and installation of sea outflow pipes. Signing of agreements with Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation and Altec Maldives (Pvt) Ltd for the proposed water and sewerage system in Ha. Thuraakunu. This is a donation for the people of Ha. Ha. Uligan mosque ‘ Masjid Moosa Ali’ named after late Moosa Ali (Ali Fulhu Thuthu) is a donation to the locals of Uligan by Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation (AFTF). The project initially started in November 2010 and was completed during July 2012. The design concept was inspired by the famous and historic Friday Mosque (Hukuru Miskih) and Minaret (Munnaaru) of capital city Male’.
